Step 1Using copy or cover paper, download and print out the template provided.
CleverTip: You will need to make sure that the template is printed to “actual size” to ensure that it will fit correctly onto the diorama pieces.
Step 3Get decorating! You can use whatever craft materials you like to decorate your diorama overlay - markers, pencils or even paint! Allow to dry if needed.
Step 3You may also like to use glue to add collage materials (such as crepe paper or glitter) to give your design some texture or sparkle. Allow to dry.
CleverTip: If you are using glitter, you can use a sheet of paper underneath your craft activity to catch any glitter pieces that may fall off while you are decorating. This way you will be able to tip them back into the glitter container and reuse them next time!
Step 4Cut out your decorated template pieces. Adult supervision recommended when using scissors.
Step 5Glue the overlay to the pieces of your Wooden Nativity Diorama, ensuring to align the edges. Allow to dry.
Step 6Assemble your Nativity Diorama by inserting the tabs on each piece into the slots on the base. You can use our image as a guide.
CleverTip: For permanent assembly, add glue to the slots prior to inserting your wooden pieces.
Step 7Your Nativity Diorama is now ready to display!
