Painted Papier Mache Egg Canister

  • Step 1Begin by giving your egg a coat of white paint. Allow to dry. This is not essential but provides a good base for painting
  • Step 2Sketch out your design onto a piece of paper before you start to decorate your egg. Look to our design for inspiration or create your own awesome design! Once you have a design, transfer it lightly onto your egg using a pencil. This is not essential but helps with planning your design.
  • Use the end of a paintbrush or a bamboo skewer dipped in paint to create dots! Allow to dry.
  • Step 4If you plan to give the canister as a gift, line it with some tissue paper before placing your gift inside
