Our blackline masters can be completed in a variety of ways. Below are some hints and tips to help you get the most out of your blackline masters. These activities will equip children with important skills like colouring, cutting, gluing, folding, constructing and creative thinking.

  • Step 1Print out your Father’s Day BLM overlay. We recommend you print it on cover paper. This will provide a great surface for decorating.
  • Step 2Use markers, pencils, crayons or paint to colour in your sheet.
  • Step 3You may like to decorate your masterpiece with glitter. Attach with glue.
  • For less glitter wastage, use a scrap piece of paper folded in half to catch the glitter falling off your colouring sheet while decorating. This will make it easy to tip the glitter back into the container ready to reuse!
  • Step 5Once decorated use scissors to cut out your Father’s Day BLM overlay. Adult supervision recommended when using scissors.
  • Step 6Attach your design to the Wooden Key Holder using glue. Allow to dry. Once dry push the dowel pieces through the holes marked and add string to hang.
