Step 1Download and print the template provided. We suggest printing onto cardboard as this will be sturdier for construction.
Step 2Decorate the template using paint and glitter then allow to dry. You could also use markers or coloured pencils.
Step 3Cut out the template pieces. Adult supervision is recommended when using scissors.
Step 4 4 Fold the bat wings along the dotted lines to create tabs. Position the wings on either side of the bat’s face. Hold the wings in place by taping down the tabs.
Step 5Use a hole punch to create holes as indicated on the template. Cut 2 pieces of black yarn. Thread one through the hole on the left-hand side and tie to hold in place and do the same on the right-hand side with the other piece of yarn.
Step 6Use the yarn to tie the bat securely onto your head - you’re now ready to go trick-or-treating!
