Step 1Choose an A4 sheet of cover paper and cut into four long, even strips. Adult supervision is recommended when using scissors.
Step 2Take one of the strips and fold in half, short edge to short edge. Fold the strip in half again, then fold in half once more until you have folded it in half a total of four times. You will now have a small rectangle.
Step 3Cut out your chosen template. Align the grey dotted lines with the long edges of the rectangle. Make sure the longer dotted line is aligned to the edge that has no loose flaps. Using a pencil, trace around the black lines at the top and bottom of the template.
Step 4Cut along your pencil lines, making sure to cut through all the paper layers. Make sure you don’t cut where the grey dotted lines are on the template though!
Step 5Unfold your paper strip to reveal your cutout garland. Decorate your garland however you would like with markers or pencils. To make the garland longer, repeat steps 2 to 4 with the remaining paper strips from Step 1 and secure together using some sticky tape.
Step 6Your Halloween Cutout Garland is now ready to display!
