Glittery Ceramic Owl Tealight Holders

Step 1Sketch out your design onto a piece of paper before you start to decorate your tealight holder. Once you have a design, transfer it lightly onto the tealight holder using a pencil or free hand your design if you feel confident
2. Store your markers horizontally (flat) and always replace the cap immediately after using, even if you are just taking a short break. This will stop the ink from drying out.
Step 3Shake your markers well before use.
Step 4Press the tip of your marker gently & repeatedly to start the ink flow. Do this on some scrap paper, you may need to repeat this step each time you use your markers to get the ink flowing!
Step 5Apply your design to a clean dry surface.
Step 6Gently paint glue on to the sections of the owl where you want the glitter to be. Sprinkle glitter over the glued areas and then tap the owl gently to release the excess glitter.
For less glitter wastage, use a scrap piece of paper folded in half to catch the glitter fall-ing off the tealight while decorating. This will make it easy to tip the excess glitter back into the container ready to reuse!
Step 8Allow your design to dry for a minimum of 24 hours.
