Step 1Download and print out the templates provided. Use the templates as a guide and cut out each piece from coloured cover paper. Adult supervision is recommended when using scissors. Alternatively, you can colour the templates using coloured markers or pencils before cutting out each piece.
Step 2Starting from the outside, roll your flower template inwards until you reach the centre. Make sure you roll the flower as tight as possible to make sure it holds its shape. Use a glue dot to attach the bottom piece of the rose to the side of your flower, leaving a small opening in the centre for the chenille stem.
Step 3Fold a green chenille stem in half and twist the two ends together until you get to the middle of the stem.
Step 4Carefully poke a hole in the base of the leaf template piece using a pencil and thread it through one half of the chenille stem. Continue to twist the two halves together until you reach the other end.
Step 5Place the chenille stem into the bottom of your paper flower through the hole that you created and use glue dots to secure the pieces together.
Step 6Your Paper Flower is now ready to gift to someone special! You could even create more to make a bouquet.
