Step 1Print out the template onto white cover paper. Decorate your kangaroo with pencils or markers. You can also decorate a paper cup to look like the Australian landscape.
Step 2Cut out your kangaroo template and curve it around the outside of a second paper cup. Adult supervision is recommended when using scissors. Use glue to secure your paper in place and allow to dry.
Step 3Use a sharp pencil to carefully poke four holes around the edge of the Kangaroo cup opening. Place one at the front of the cup, then directly opposite at the back and the other two on either side of the cup.
Step 4Take two rubber bands and cut them so you have two long elastic band pieces. Thread one band through the holes front to back, tying large knots on the outside so the band holds in place. Do the same with the second band, threading it through the side holes and tying in place so the bands form a cross. Trim any excess.
Step 5Place your kangaroo cup on top of your Australian landscape cup. Push the kangaroo down and release to watch your Jumping Kangaroo in action!
