Step 1Place 3 teaspoons of CleverPatch™ Gloss Finish into a paper cup.
Step 2Add 2 teaspoons of blue glitter liquid watercolour to the cup and mix in with the gloss finish.
Step 3Add 2 teaspoons of purple glitter liquid watercolour to the cup and mix.
Step 4Add 2 teaspoons of water to the mixture. If you would like a darker finish on your jar, do not add the water.
Step 5Add as much glitter as you like! We have used fine and regular glitter. Mix the glitter in.
Step 6Pour the glue mixture into your hanging glass jar. Keep the paper cup handy for step 8!
Step 7Carefully coat the inside of the jar by moving the liquid around.
Step 8Reuse the cup from step 6 and place a popstick across the top. Sit the jar upside down onto the popstick for 5 minutes and let the excess mixture drip back into the cup. We have also used a paper plate to catch any drips just in case! You could also use a splash mat or scrap paper.
Step 9Wipe off any excess mixture from the rim of the jar.
Step 10Place the jar into a cold oven and turn it on to 80 degrees. Adult supervision is recommended when using an oven. Leave the jar in the oven to bake for around 20 minutes or until you can see the glue mixture has become transparent. Turn off the oven and leave your jar inside to cool down completely before removing.
Step 11Turn on your LED tealight and place it into your jar. Your Galaxy Hanging Jar is now ready to sparkle in the dark!
