Shrink Film Elephant Keyring

Step 1Download and print out the template provided. Place a sheet of shrink film shiny side down over the template. Trace around the template and colour in using coloured pencils.
Step 2Cut around the template pieces. Adult supervision is recommended when using scissors. For best results, leave a small border around the pieces as you are cutting to help ensure you cut smooth, curved edges and prevent sharp edges once your design is baked.
Step 3Use a hole punch to create holes in the top of the leg pieces and at the bottom of the body piece, using the circles on the template as a guide.
Step 4Follow the instructions provided in your shrink film pack to bake your design. Allow to cool completely.
Step 5Use pliers to open a jump ring. Thread two leg pieces, facing up, onto the open ring. Thread through a hole at the bottom of the body piece to attach the legs. Close the jump ring with pliers to secure the legs in place. Repeat this process to attach the two remaining legs to the second hole in the body piece.
Step 6Use another jump ring to attach the top hole of the elephant’s body to the bottom link in the keyring chain. Close the jump ring to hold the keychain in place.
Step 7Your Elephant Keyring is now ready to use!
