Step 1Paint your shapes white. Allow to dry. This is not essential but provides a good base for painting.
Step 2Paint your shapes in bright colours. We created strawberry hearts, carambola stars, mandarin and kiwi fruit ovals, lemon, lime and orange circles, pineapple squares, and guava bumpy circles. Allow to dry.
Step 3We attached chenille stems and foam as stalks with glue. Allow to dry.
Step 4Use a marker to add detail to your shapes.
Step 5Finally add some sparkle with glitter paint. Apply to your wooden shapes and allow to dry.
