Step 1Give your papier mache cone a coat of white paint. This is not essential but provides a good base for painting.
Step 2Paint your papier mache cone orange. Allow to dry.
Step 3Cut up small, thin strips of brown felt.
Step 4Peel the paper backing from the felt to reveal the adhesive surface. Decorate the papier mache cone with the felt strips to create detail on your carrot.
Step 5Bend 2 green chenille stems into a ‘U’ shape. Tape the chenille stems inside the cone to create a handle.
Step 6Cut up different sized leaf shapes from green tissue paper.
Step 7Decorate the inside top of your carrot basket with the leaf shapes. Attach with glue.
