Mother's Day Porcelain Flowerpot

Search terms: garden craft, floriade, spring, floral, grow your own. 

  • Step 1Clean your flower pot with soapy water and dry well.
  • Step 2Think about what you want to draw on your flower pot. If you are unsure, try drawing a design on paper first, then copy it onto your flower pot with your glass and porcelain markers.
  • Step 3Allow your design to dry for a minimum of 24 hours.
  • Remember when baking your flower pot, DO NOT pre-heat the oven. The difference in temperature may cause your flower pot to crack. Instead, put your object in a cold oven, then turn the oven on.
  • Step 5Once dry, place your flower pot in a cold household oven. Once the temperature has reached 160°C, bake your flower pot for 90 minutes to heat set your design.
